A one room flat in a new building with a gated courtyard is the clearest rental product in the city: a tenant is found quickly, the finish is standard, and competition inside the quarter levels the rent. The same thing is the drawback: when you sell, you will be queuing behind dozens of similar flats.
So if you are buying to let, look at the floor and the condition rather than the layout: among identical flats the one that wins is the one needing least work.

Three things in this phase. Whether your entrance is fully completed, because sections in this quarter are handed over at different times. How many flats in the entrance are rented out, which the corridors and the number of replaced doors tend to show.
