Do you need experience in property to start

For an agent role experience is not required: there are trainings, seminars and practice under a mentor. Experience matters where management is involved: a branch director role goes to someone who has managed before. Everyone else we train from scratch, and that is the normal route for most of our agents.

How much can you earn and what does it depend on

Earnings depend on results and have no ceiling: an agent takes a percentage of the deal. That means the first months are uneven and income grows with your client base and the number of deals closed. The motivation scheme is shown in full at the interview, percentages included, so that you can do the arithmetic rather than take it on trust.

How the training works and who the mentor is

Training means courses and seminars plus a placement on real tasks. A mentor is an experienced agent who takes you through your first deals: you go to the first viewings together, prepare the documents and see the first deal through to the notary. The agency handles the legal side, the advertising and the CRM, so what you learn is working with clients and properties rather than paperwork.

How long it takes to reach the first deal

The route to a first deal has four steps: an application or an online interview, an interview with the manager, training with a placement, and then your own first viewings. The timing depends on you and on the market, and promising a particular week here would be dishonest. What genuinely speeds it up is being ready to go to viewings every day and working the agency warm leads rather than finding clients from nothing.

Is there a career path beyond the percentage

Yes, and it runs from agent to branch manager. We have 7 offices across the districts of Odesa, and the branch managers grew out of their own agent teams. Beyond the management line there are administrative roles. We have worked since 2016 and the team has 144 agents: growth here is not a promise made at an interview but something that has already happened to particular people.
