How many commercial properties do you have on sale

Currently 909, prices from 16 000 $. The figure is live and read from our database when the page opens.

How does a unit in a residential building differ from a standalone one

In footfall and in restrictions. In a block the quarter supplies the footfall, but the building association rules, noise and smells close businesses more often than rent does.

Can a residential flat be converted into commercial premises

Sometimes, and it is a separate procedure with timelines and approvals. It is worth checking before purchase whether it is possible in that building at all.

What matters more, the price per metre or the footfall

The footfall and who can be placed there. The price per metre says nothing about income: identical floor areas on one street produce different returns.

I am looking for premises for a cafe, what should I check

Electrical capacity, ventilation, drainage and a separate entrance. Without them a cafe cannot open, and retrofitting them into a finished building is costly or impossible.

Do you work with commercial lettings

We do, and for a buyer that helps: we see the rates at which neighbouring units are let, and that is the key figure for a payback calculation.

Is there commercial space in new builds

There is, and it is the fastest growing segment. What to check there is how occupied the quarter is and which neighbouring units are already taken.

What is the commission on a commercial deal

It depends on the property and on which side of the deal you are, and we state it before the viewing rather than after. In new builds the developer usually pays it.
